Introduction
- Roasted Maple Series(RSM)
Roasted Maple is a material that comes as a result of treating Maple wood with a high heat process, volatilizing the water and oils in the wood, giving, as a result, a more sturdy and durable wood that not only increases stability but also the overall sound quality of the material. The sound that we get from Roasted Maple is a rich, organic sound with a vintage-like tone that is reminiscent of an instrument that has aged its sound with time and usage. This is a new product lineup of Bacchus that puts this amazing feature, which is often used in high-end models, at a reasonable price range.
- Roasted Maple Neck
Thanks to the use of roasted flame maple for the neck, a high-end feel is achieved. Due to its high rigidity as a neck, it is very resistant to naturally occurring problems, and it produces a crisp vintage guitar-like tone with a good sound rise. (* There might be individual differences in the wood grain of the flame maple)
- About the origins of the Bacchus GIN-FORCE
Yome to ore, which translates to (My wife and me), is a very popular channel in Japan where Marco and his wife play amazing covers together.
Marco calls his G-FORCE (An old Bacchus model that is now out of production) “Gin-san”, not like the alcoholic beverage, but the Japanese word for “Silver”, pronounced “Geen”, or like “Guinea” without the “ea” at the end. When it came to making a signature G-FORCE in collaboration with Marco, the name was an easy pick, that’s how the name “GIN-FORCE” came to be!
The base G-FORCE model has also been boldly modified by Marco and has even been decorated with rhinestones by his son!
- Marco’s detailed specs
In response to Marco’s request for an upgrade, the neck and fingerboard were made into the highly-popular roasted maple (RSM)! The headstock is decorated with the Yome to ore logo, which is a reference to the rhinestones that his son glued on Gin-san’s headstock.
- A 2-humbucker layout inherited from Gin-san
Like Gin-san, the new GIN-FORCE is equipped with two humbuckers for pickups.
They are characterized by a round and powerful sound leaning toward the bass, and a strong presence can be expected even with a clean sound. In addition, the humbuckers have a noise-resistant structure, so they work well with distortion and heavy distortion such as metal.
This is an all-around design that allows this model to be used in any genre.
A coil tap switch is a switch that disables the signal from one coil of a humbucker pickup consisting of two coils in series and allows only the signal from the other coil to be transmitted. This gives as a result a single-coil-like sound.
As mentioned above, humbuckers are characterized by a round, powerful sound with a bass-leaning tone, but by using the coil tap switch, it is also possible to produce a crisp single-coil sound.
- Locking Tuner&2-Point Support Wilkinson® Tremolo Unit
The Locking Tuner (Locking machine head) is a mechanism in which the rod in the string post rises when the wheel on the back of the machine head is turned and locks when the string is clamped. By reducing the number of windings on the string post, tuning stability is dramatically improved.
Since the locking machine heads are a mechanism that clamps the strings, there is no need to wind more strings, which also has the advantage of shortening the time required for string changes and reducing tension fluctuations.
As the degree of freedom in arming increases, the stability of tuning becomes more important, but a locking-type tuner fixed with a thumbwheel takes care of that problem.
It has a two-point supported Wilkinson® WV2-CR.tremolo, which secures a range of motion going both up and down, and achieves tuning stability while giving you access to subtle nuances in your performance.
